Vampir: Netmarble's Vampire MMORPG Global Launch and Specs Guide
What Vampir is, when it launched globally, how to play on iPhone, Android or PC, the PC system requirements, servers, classes and launch rewards.
“Vampir” (styled VAMPIR) is Netmarble’s dark-fantasy vampire MMORPG. It launched globally on PC and mobile on October 27, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. PDT, which is why it’s climbing the App Store charts this week. It’s free to play on iPhone, iPad and Android, and on PC through the Epic Games Store, with cross-play between them.
Below: what the game is, where to get it officially, which servers and classes to expect, and whether your phone or PC can run it. All details are as of October 28, 2026, the day after launch. Launch-week details like events and reward claim windows change quickly, so check the in-game notices too.
What is Vampir?
Vampir is a vampire-themed MMORPG published by Netmarble and developed by Netmarble Neo. According to Massively Overpowered, the team previously worked on Lineage 2: Revolution and Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds. Netmarble pitches the game around “blood, horror, and sexuality,” and the store rating reflects that. More on the rating below.
This is not a brand-new game. It came out in Korea in August 2025, reached Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau in March 2026, and launched in Japan in July 2026. The October 27 release opened it to more countries and regions worldwide, as reported by Inven Global and GamesBeat. The coverage we found doesn’t list every included country. If you can’t find the game in your local store, it may not be available in your region yet.
Core gameplay
From launch coverage, the main features are:
- Blood System: the game’s signature mechanic, built around vampire powers.
- Drain healing: there’s no dedicated healer class. You recover HP by draining life force from enemies.
- Open-field PvP and cross-server clan warfare: the usual Korean-MMO endgame structure.
- Auto-hunting plus manual combat: you can let your character grind on its own or take direct control. This matters for hardware, as explained below.
Where to download Vampir (official sources only)
Only use official storefronts. Netmarble has named three:
| Platform | Official store | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| iPhone / iPad | Apple App Store | Free, about 3.4 GB download, iOS 15 or later, rated 18+ |
| Android | Google Play | Free. Device requirements were not stated in our sources |
| Windows PC | Epic Games Store | Free, native PC client. No Steam release has been announced |
To get started:
- Search for “VAMPIR” by Netmarble in the App Store, Google Play or the Epic Games Store. Check that the publisher is Netmarble, because there are many unrelated vampire games with similar names.
- Install the game, then let the in-game patcher finish. MMOs usually download extra data on first launch, so use Wi-Fi.
- Sign in. The Epic Games Store listing says you need a Netmarble ID or an Epic, Google, Apple or Facebook login.
- Pick a region and server (see below), then create your character.
If you plan to play on both phone and PC, use the same login method on both so your progress carries over.
Servers at launch
Launch guides list three regions with two worlds each:
- North America: Scarlet, Rust
- Europe: Aria, Prelude
- Southeast Asia: Onyx, Opal
Pick the region closest to you for the lowest latency, especially if you want to take part in PvP and clan wars. Netmarble may add servers if launch demand is high, so the list can change.
The five classes
The global site shows five classes, all damage-focused, each with its own weapon and fighting style:
- Akasha
- Carnage
- Bloodstained
- Viper
- Grim Reaper
Because every class heals through Drain rather than relying on a healer, you don’t need to plan a group around a support role. Our sources didn’t include detailed, verified breakdowns of each class’s weapon and skills, so we won’t guess here. Look at the class previews on character creation before you commit.
Can your hardware run Vampir?

PC requirements (Epic Games Store)
According to the Epic Games Store listing:
| Minimum | Recommended | |
|---|---|---|
| OS | Windows 10 | Windows 10 |
| CPU | Intel Core i5 (3.0 GHz) | Intel Core i7 or AMD Ryzen 7 |
| RAM | 16 GB | 16 GB |
| GPU | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 | NVIDIA GeForce “GTX 2060” as listed (most likely the RTX 2060) |
| DirectX | 11 | 11 |
Some notes on these numbers:
- 16 GB of RAM is the floor, even at minimum. That’s higher than many mobile-first MMOs ask for. If you have 8 GB, upgrading memory is the first thing to look at.
- The GPU requirements are modest. A GTX 1060-class card or anything newer should get you in. The recommended “GTX 2060” isn’t a real product name, so it’s very likely a typo for the RTX 2060. Netmarble hasn’t clarified this.
- No AMD GPU or Intel Arc equivalents are listed. Recent cards from either brand with similar performance should be fine in principle, but that’s our inference, not an official statement.
Mobile requirements
On iOS, the App Store lists iOS 15 or later and a download of about 3.4 GB. Expect more storage use after in-game patches. We didn’t find official Android device or OS requirements. For a long session on a phone, a recent mid-range or flagship device with enough free storage is the safe bet, though Netmarble hasn’t published specific recommendations.
PC client vs. emulator
You’ll see emulator pages offering the mobile version on PC. You don’t need them, because there’s a native PC client on Epic. Emulator requirements don’t apply to the Epic version, and the native client is the officially supported way to play on PC.
Battery and heat on mobile
Vampir supports auto-hunting, so many players leave it running for long periods. Long MMO sessions on a phone mean sustained heat and battery drain. A charger or a phone cooler helps if you plan to idle-grind, and the PC client is the easier option for marathon sessions.
Launch rewards and events
Reports say pre-registration rewards include a Designated Heroic Mount Summon Ticket, 100 million Gold, a full set of Rare Equipment and Immortal Portrait Fragments. Guides say these are given once per account, so registering on several platforms doesn’t stack them. Sources also mention a welcome coupon for joining the official Discord.
Some details are unclear or conflict between sources:
- Claim window: one guide says you have 30 days to claim rewards, while another warns that in-game mail expires after seven days. Claim yours as soon as you log in to be safe.
- Launch events: one guide describes a 21-day check-in event and weekly missions advertised as worth up to 1,100 summons, but another notes this isn’t an immediate login reward. Read the in-game event pages for the actual terms.
Only redeem coupons through the official game or Netmarble channels. Never enter your account details on third-party “reward” sites.
Age rating and content
Vampir is rated 18+ on the App Store. Its content descriptors include fantasy and realistic violence, horror themes, sexual content or nudity, loot boxes, messaging and in-app purchases. Reports also say the pre-registration event was not open to players under 18. Parents should treat it as an adults-only game.
Bottom line
Vampir is a free, cross-platform vampire MMORPG from Netmarble that arrived worldwide on October 27, 2026. It has already been running in Asian markets since 2025. On mobile, all you need is a recent device running iOS 15 or later, or a supported Android phone. On PC, the main thing to check is 16 GB of RAM, since the GPU requirements are modest. Download it only from the App Store, Google Play or the Epic Games Store, and expect launch-week details to change.
