GTA 6 Vintage Vice City Pack: Contents, Deadline and How to Get It
What's in the GTA 6 Vintage Vice City Pack, who qualifies, the November 2026 purchase deadline, how the items unlock, and how it differs from the GTA+ bonus.
The GTA 6 Vintage Vice City Pack is Rockstar’s pre-order bonus for Grand Theft Auto VI. Every pre-order or purchase made before November 20, 2026 includes it, on both the Standard and Ultimate editions. It contains a ‘55 Vapid Stanier sedan, a Shore Court garage near Ocean Beach, Vice City-style outfits and hairstyles for Jason and Lucia, and a tropical weapon pattern based on Tommy Vercetti’s famous shirt.
Below I cover what’s in the pack, the deadline and why sources quote it slightly differently, how the items unlock, and how the pack differs from the GTA+ bonus that some storefronts add. Everything here is accurate as of November 3, 2026, about two weeks before launch, and Rockstar could still change the details.
What’s in the Vintage Vice City Pack
Rockstar announced the pack on June 24, 2026, alongside pre-orders and pricing (press release via Business Wire). It’s a set of throwbacks to 2002’s GTA: Vice City. Here’s what reporting from the announcement lists:
| Item | What it is |
|---|---|
| ‘55 Vapid Stanier | A two-tone 1950s-style sedan |
| Shore Court garage | A garage near Ocean Beach, a short walk from the sand |
| Jason outfit and hair | A pastel linen suit with a period-appropriate haircut |
| Lucia outfit and hair | A red sequin mini dress with curls |
| Tropical weapon pattern | A palm-print pattern inspired by Tommy Vercetti’s Hawaiian shirt |
Hypebeast and All Things How both describe the outfits and weapon pattern. One guide says the pattern works on most guns. Only one source names a specific gun that uses it. Until the game is out, treat the exact list of compatible weapons as unconfirmed.
You may see the car spelled “Vapid Stainer” in some articles. That’s a misspelling of Stanier.
Everything in the pack is cosmetic or a convenience: a car, a garage and clothing. Nothing reported so far suggests it gives any gameplay advantage beyond having that vehicle and property available.
Who qualifies and the purchase deadline
Rockstar’s announcement says all Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders and purchases made before November 20, 2026 include the pack. In practice:
- Digital purchases on PlayStation Store or the Xbox/Microsoft Store qualify, whichever edition you buy.
- Physical pre-orders qualify while supplies last, according to Hypebeast and other coverage of the announcement. If you’re ordering a boxed copy from a retailer, check that the listing mentions the pack.
- Both editions include the same pack. The Xbox Store has a separate entry for the pack, and the Ultimate Edition listing bundles it with the Ultimate Edition Upgrade.
Why you’ll see two different deadlines
Rockstar’s wording is “before November 20, 2026”. Some guides instead quote a cutoff of 23:59:59 on November 19, 2026, which is launch day. Those two dates can mean the same moment depending on time zone, but the wording differs. To be safe, buy on or before November 19. If you buy right on the line, check the official terms on your storefront.
Editions, prices and key dates
For context, here’s how the pack fits into the editions announced in June. The prices are US launch prices from the announcement coverage and may vary by region and retailer.
| Standard Edition | Ultimate Edition | |
|---|---|---|
| US price | $79.99 | $99.99 |
| Vintage Vice City Pack (before Nov 20) | Included | Included |
| Extra Ultimate content | No | Yes (Ultimate Edition Upgrade) |
Key dates, as of November 2026:
- November 12, 2026: Digital pre-load opens. One guide also reports that boxed copies go on sale that day.
- November 19, 2026: GTA 6 launches on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
- Before November 20, 2026: Rockstar’s deadline for purchases that include the pack.
On Xbox, retailers such as GameStop list the boxed Standard Edition as a “Code in Box” product, meaning the box holds a download code, not a disc. One guide reports the Ultimate Edition is digital-only. Check the retailer’s product page before you order a physical copy.
How to get the Vintage Vice City Pack
You don’t enter a separate code for the pack. Coverage including All Things How says it’s tied to your purchase. Steps:
- Buy or pre-order GTA 6 before the deadline. Use the official PlayStation Store, the Xbox/Microsoft Store, or a retailer whose listing mentions the pack for physical copies.
- If you bought a boxed copy with a code inside, redeem it on your console’s store as soon as you have it. Your entitlement then sits on your account like a digital purchase.
- Pre-load from November 12 if you bought digitally, so you can play at launch.
- Play the story. Reports say the pack’s items become available to Jason and Lucia as the story progresses, not all at once at the start. They aren’t available before launch.
Only use official storefronts and retailers. Nobody legitimate will ask for your PlayStation Network, Xbox or Rockstar account password to “unlock” the pack. Treat any site or video offering a free pack code as a scam.
When the items appear in-game
Sources differ slightly here. Some articles say the pack “unlocks at launch”, while others say the items open up as the story progresses. Both can be true: the entitlement is active from launch, but you may not see the car, garage or outfits until you reach the right point in the story. Rockstar hasn’t published a full unlock schedule. If something seems to be missing early on, keep playing before you contact support.
The GTA+ month is a separate bonus
The pack is easy to confuse with another pre-order offer. Pre-orders of any edition made on the PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store include one free month of GTA+, Rockstar’s subscription. This is separate from the pack:
- On PlayStation, Push Square reports the GTA+ code arrives by email after a qualifying PlayStation Store pre-order, and warns that GTA+ auto-renews once activated. Check your subscription settings after you redeem it if you don’t want to pay for a second month.
- On Xbox, coverage says the offer appears under “Offers & credits” in the Store.
- Physical pre-orders are described as including the game and the pack, with no mention of the GTA+ month. Don’t count on the GTA+ month with a boxed copy unless the retailer says it’s included.
Is the pack worth worrying about?
The pack comes with every purchase before the deadline, so you aren’t choosing between it and something else. What matters is when you buy. If you plan to get GTA 6 at launch anyway, buying by November 19 gets you the Stanier, the Ocean Beach garage and the retro outfits at no extra cost. If you’re waiting for reviews or a sale, you’ll probably miss it. Rockstar hasn’t said whether the pack will be offered later, so don’t assume it will come back.
The pack is also the same in both editions. Choose between Standard and Ultimate based on what the Ultimate Edition Upgrade adds, not on the pre-order bonus. For the full edition breakdown, Dot Esports keeps a running list, and Rockstar’s own channels will have the final terms at launch.

Frequently asked questions
Can I still get the Vintage Vice City Pack after GTA 6 launches? +
Rockstar's announcement says pre-orders and purchases made before November 20, 2026 include the pack, so buying in the first hours after the November 19 launch should still qualify. Some guides quote a cutoff of 23:59:59 on November 19, so buying on or before launch day is the safe choice. Rockstar hasn't said whether the pack will be offered any other way after that.
Do I need a code to unlock the Vintage Vice City Pack? +
Coverage so far says no. The pack is tied to your qualifying purchase and its items show up in-game as Jason and Lucia's story progresses. If you buy a boxed copy that holds a download code, redeem that code on your console's store as normal.
Is the Vintage Vice City Pack different in the Ultimate Edition? +
No. The pack is the same in both editions. The Xbox Store listing for the Ultimate Edition shows it bundling the Ultimate Edition Upgrade together with the Vintage Vice City Pack, so you don't get a bigger version by paying more.
Is the free month of GTA+ part of the Vintage Vice City Pack? +
No, it is a separate bonus. It comes with pre-orders of any edition made on the PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store. GTA+ auto-renews once activated, so check your renewal settings after you redeem it.
